Most of our Clients will require changes to the content of their site at regular intervals. Depending on the changes needed, we would recommend one of three approaches.
It the Client requires only a few minor changes to items such as contact details, annual price changes, or similar, then it is economical for us to quote the Client to do that work for him. Many of our Clients make small changes of this nature to their sites once or twice a year.
Alternatively, Clients who regularly change such items as prices, product lists, newsletters and the like would perhaps find it more economical to pay a premium to have us program certain parts of the site as updateable, so that they can update the information themselves at any time. This facility is very simple to use by clerical and management staff who have no specialist training and no technical knowledge of the internet. As an example of this, we have a Client who is a fine dining restaurant, and authorised staff can insert seasonal menus for Valentine's Day, Christmas, etc, and well as changing prices in the regular menus.
At a more sophisticated level, we can provide full database-driven content management systems with sophisticated multi-level access privilege systems, enabling authorised Client personnel to access and modify the information in large and complex databases. Again, this system is simple to use by clerical and management staff who have no specialist training and no technical knowledge of the internet.
